Using Public Domain Images for Art

But if the vector art resembles the original photo to the average person, then you run into copyright issues. For example, when submitting vector art to Istockphoto.com, if you trace your vector art over photos, you’re supposed to include the original photos used and they should be taken by yourself or someone who let you use their copyright.
